Its January....
Which means we have less than a month before we leave on our adventure around the Pacific. To make things just that much more exciting, I proposed to Kate on New Years eve and she said yes (after she said no).
The excitement is building and everyday the reality of our trip become more clear. I'm working on a real first entry but for now this will have to do.

Andy you do not know me yet but I am looking forward to seeing you guys in London. It has been many years now since I have seen Kate, we will have some major catching up to do. Weirdest thing though, my friend Andy Collins (don't think he is any relation) is getting married to another of my friends I met through Butler in Chicago this May. Strange!!

Hey Andy, let's try this again... I just posted something - but maybe it takes a bit to go through... I don't see my comments on this page... anyhow.. I just looked at my calendar - you and kate are getting married on your BIRTHDAY!!!! That's awesome!
Am I wrong with this one... the last post I had written said a bunch of good stuff about travelling and what not - but I think it was deleted... take care - have a ton of fun and take deep breaths of all the distant lands you travel to... relax and enjoy! Have fun.
